The latest trend for getting to Snakeheads is called skipping and is a technique to get deep under the thickest of cover where Snakeheads love to hide. Similar to pitching except the lure itself is skipped along the surface like a pebble in order to avoid any snags on its way into a Sneks lair. The Skippy was designed specifically for this.

It’s Skipping Tech fat profile gives it a larger surface area so that it easily skims along the water’s surface. It’s special Formula Float compound also allows the lure to float allowing you to fish slow without it sinking.

You’ll notice it only has one leg, basically it fishes exactly the same as a soft frog; reeled in on the surface to look like a scuttling frog or bait fish. Believe it or not, the one leg increases your chance of a hook up as the profile of the lure is smaller and easier to fit in a Snakeheads mouth.
